The Institute of Apprenticeship in the Federative Republic of Brazil: selected aspects

Abstract

The article is devoted to certain issues of legal regulation of the institution of apprenticeship in the Federative Republic of Brazil. The author analyzes the normative acts regulating the specified sphere of public relations, concludes that today the legislation of this country provides for a higher volume of guarantees related to apprenticeship, compared with the volume of guarantees provided to students within the framework of the Russian legal regulation of student relations. Additionally, it is noted that Brazil actively implements the principle of inclusivity of student relations, manifested in the establishment at the state level of quotas for apprenticeships from employers, the opportunity for persons with disabilities to enter into student relations without taking into account the age limit, and other provisions of Brazilian legislation. At the end of the article, the author concludes that, despite the positive trends associated with the development of the institution of apprenticeship in the Federative Republic of Brazil, today it is also necessary to combine the efforts of students, employees, employers and the state to achieve the most complete result in the training system at the expense of the employer.
