The article is devoted to the Russian period of the life of one of the most famous political figures and intellectuals of Ethiopia in the first half of the twentieth century. The Russian foster family, in which he spent 17 years of his life, left a big mark in the subsequent social, political and creative activities of Tekle Hawariat, Tekle Mariyam. He carried love and loyalty to his foster family through his entire eventful, ups and downs life of a politician, public figure, creative personality.References
