The article examines the establishment of cooperation and the evolving confrontation between the Left Socialist-Revolutionaries and the Bolsheviks over key issues of socio-economic and political life in the Soviets of the Upper Volga region from January to June 1918. Attention is paid to the organizational standing of the Left SR organizations and their pursuit of compromises with the Bolsheviks.References
