The article examines the specifics of the consideration by the courts of petitions for a preliminary determination of the place of residence of children and the procedure for exercising parental rights by a parent living separately from the child. The procedural rules for the consideration of such issues by the courts are given. Legally significant circumstances are analyzed, which must be established by the court, temporarily determining the child's place of residence or establishing a temporary procedure for communicating with the child. Examples from judicial practice are given, and recommendations to law enforcement officers are substantiated.References
