Modern literature on the legal and moral status of young people

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis and comprehension of works on the so-called «school theme». According to the author, school events and relationships often become the basis for conflicts and «unethical actions» and «speech acts as offenses» among children, parents, and school teachers. Each party involved in the problematic situation bears a certain responsibility for the «controversial relationships». The author suggests using some works on the «school theme» to examine the ethical rights and responsibilities of young people during their school years, the range of their responsibilities, and the ability to protect their interests in controversial or conflict situations in the social environment. By analyzing the plots and images of well-known works of children's and youth literature, the author invites readers to reflect on the issues of a young person's legal identity, legal nihilism, and social maturity; on the young person's sense of vulnerability in an adult world where.
