Abstract

The article is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of A. F. Koni. The authors of the article turn to scientific publications and memoirs of eminent lawyer, patriot and public figure, as well as one of the "teachers of justice" and the founders of judicial practice. The authors of the article review and analyze the unique and significant scientific works of A.F. Koni in sphere of public speaking. The article evaluates the scientific works of A.F. Koni, which are devoted to judicial practice, the principles of professional and moral duty of a lawyer. The text of the article is based on famous quotations, aphorisms, witty comparisons from the best works of A.F. Koni. The scientific material of this article allows us to evaluate and understand the era in which A.F. Koni was formed. The works of this outstanding lawyer were included in the golden fund of books and determined the vector of public and professional service.
