Abstract

This paper focuses on the problem of defining the emotive meaning in the semantic structure of interjections as well as the modern approaches to its lexicographic description. The author proposes a solution to the problem from the perspective of the linguistic theory of emotions based on the description of the communication act in the unity of the symptomatic situation, intonation and gesture support.
