Abstract

The article examines conditions of functioning of the institute of insolvency (bankruptcy) in Russia. It is determined the influence of the main indicators social and economic development on implementation of bankruptcy procedures. Revealed and justified the necessity of improvement of the legislation on insolvency (bankruptcy) in order to create a favorable institutional environment, Russian's transition to an innovative path of development.
