Monitoring of indicators of economic security of housing and communal services at regional level

Abstract

The article examines the issues of ensuring the economic security of the housing and communal services through the definition of the main indicators of economic security. Currently, one of the most important areas of economic research is the assessment of the socio-economic development of Russian regions and its impact on the level of national economic security. The development of a regional socio-economic policy requires mandatory consideration of the specifics of the regions, the degree of differentiation for various social and economic indicators. The author's classification of indicators of economic security of housing and communal services, as well as the main results of monitoring indicators of economic security of housing and communal services in the regions of the Central Federal District, is given. The state and problems of housing and communal services raise serious concerns, which necessitates the intensification of research on the identification and prevention of threats to the livelihood of the country's population, which can lead to serious social consequences.
