Political aspects of conflict management in the process of the implementation of urban projects

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of political management of conflicts arising during the implementation of urban projects between internal and external stakeholders. On the basis of the synthesis of the concepts of organizational conflictology and conflictology of urban processes, the author determines factors that influence their ability to realize their interests in the course of the conflict. The criteria for the emergence of the resonance of conflicts in the socio-political space and the need to apply mechanisms of political governance are singled out. The dependence of the results of the conflict on the configuration of the interests of internal and external stakeholders of the urban development project is justified. The empirical basis of the study was case-study, reflecting a number of conflict situations in the development of urban space in Krasnodar. Their analysis made it possible to identify models of interaction between the parties in these conflicts.
