The last album of the Grazhdanskaya oborona group was released in 2007, after the group leader E. Letov's death. It was perceived by many people as “farewell”. Such a recording reception leads to a study aimed at identifying elements that motivate this perception of the album “Zachem snyatsya sny?”. The article analyzes the elements of the plots of the transition and exit in the lyrics, which became the basis for E. Letov's latest album. The transition plot is the intersection of the border between the “this” and “that” worlds of while maintaining the connection between this worlds. The exit plot implies the final crossing of the border and the interruption of connections between the worlds. Two sets of texts realizing the plots are identified, the main elements and parameters of the plots, some motifs and intertextual connections are defined. In particular, the poetry motive importance in the transition plot, the transformation of physical images in the context of the lyrics of recent years were described. Attention is paid to the reorientation of the poetry from a social perspective to existential and ontological aspects. The material of the study was only the lyrics of the last years, from 2004 to 2006, written for the album “Zachem snyatsya sny?”, The composition of the cycle itself is not considered, becouse it requires special work and is the prospect of future research.References
