Psycholinguistic meaning of anthroponyms of the lexico-semantic group "TV Presenter" in the youth language consciousness

Abstract

The article discusses the peculiarities of the perception of anthroponyms of the lexico-semantic group "TV Presenter" by the youth language consciousness. The anthroponyms Pavel Volya and Olga Buzova served as the material for the study. The study was conducted using the methods of a free and directed associative experiment, according to the results of which the associative fields of both stimuli were compiled. After processing the experimental data obtained, the psycholinguistic meanings of anthroponyms are formulated. The analysis of the materials of the Russian National Corpus allowed us to form elements of the communicative meaning of the studied anthroponyms. In the psycholinguistic meaning and in the texts of the media, the anthroponyms Pavel Volya and Olga Buzova are characterized by semantic groups of the Sphere of activity, Life events, Professional achievements and Appearance, character traits, intelligence, behavior. It is shown that both anthroponyms are characterized by semes with both approving and disapproving evaluation, while the variety of evaluative characteristics is wider in psycholinguistic meaning. A comparative analysis of the semantics of anthroponyms is carried out on the basis of the psycholinguistic meaning formulated according to the results of the experiment and the media texts presented in the Russian National Corpus. Conclusions about the different assimilation of anthroponyms by language consciousness are drawn: the anthroponym Pavel Volya is better fixed in the youth language consciousness.
