Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Political Science
23.00.01 – Theory and philosophy of politics, history and methodology of political science (political sciences), 5.5.2 – Political institutions, processes and technologies (political sciences) , 5.5.4 – International relations (political sciences). Priority is given to articles, dealing with topical issues of modern political science, publications of the leading Russian and foreign scholars- political scientists, participants of major scientific events, organized by public politological organizations (Academy of political science, Russian association of political science, Russian society of politologists, and etc.).
Sociology
22.00.03 – Economic sociology and demography (sociological sciences), 5.4.4 – Social structure, social institutions and processes (sociological sciences), 5.4.5 – Political sociology (sociological sciences). The preference is given to articles, which are prepared in the result of empirical research, conducted by the authors, with the help of such methods as survey, expert interview, content analysis, statistics' analysis, situation analysis and etc. and directed to the solution of actual socio-political issues.
Copyright Notice
These terms and conditions govern the assignment of copyright between the Author(s) of a scholarly manuscript (hereinafter the Work) and the Publisher of the Journal.
1. General Provisions
These Terms regulate the relationship between the Author(s) of the Work and the Publisher in respect of the assignment of exclusive copyright in the Work.
The assignment of exclusive rights is concluded in accordance with the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. This agreement is deemed concluded either by signing a separate written agreement, or by the Author's full acceptance of these Terms at the moment of manuscript submission through the Journal's editorial system.
2. Subject of the Agreement
2.1 The Author hereby assigns to the Publisher the full and exclusive copyright in the Work, in accordance with Articles 1229, 1234 and 1285 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
2.2 This exclusive right is assigned for the full term of copyright provided by applicable law, and for the entire territory of the world.
2.3 This assignment applies exclusively to economic copyright. Moral rights of the Author, including the right of authorship, the right to attribution, and the right to the integrity of the Work remain in full force with the Author and are not transferred or waived in any way.
3. Rights of the Publisher
3.1 From the moment of assignment the Publisher shall have the right to use the Work by any means not prohibited by law, including but not limited to:
- reproduce the Work in print and electronic form
- distribute copies of the Work by any means
- make the Work available to the public via the internet
- deposit and host the Work in Russian and international scientific citation databases and repositories
- translate the Work into other languages
- make the metadata of the Work, including abstract and reference list, available on an open access basis.
3.2 The Publisher shall have the right to distribute the Work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, or any other open licence at the Publisher's sole discretion. This permits third parties to freely copy, distribute, adapt and use the Work, including for commercial purposes, subject to appropriate attribution of authorship.
3.3 The Publisher shall have the right to sublicense the rights granted under this agreement, in whole or in part, to third parties, without requiring additional separate consent from the Author.
4. Warranties of the Author
By submitting a manuscript to the Journal, the Author warrants that:
4.1 They are the lawful holder of all exclusive copyright in the Work, and have full authority to assign these rights to the Publisher.
4.2 The Work is original, has not been previously published in any form, and is not currently under consideration for publication by any other journal or publisher.
4.3 The Work does not infringe the rights of any third party, all quotations and borrowings are correctly cited and attributed.
4.4 Any material included in the Work in which copyright is held by third parties, including illustrations, photographs, tables, maps, text excerpts and similar materials, has been used with the full permission of the respective rights holders, including permission for use under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 licence. The Author shall bear full and exclusive liability for any infringement of third party rights.
4.5 In the case of co-authorship, all co-authors have read these Terms and consent to the assignment of copyright to the Publisher.
5. Rights Retained by the Author
5.1 The Author retains the right to use the Work for their own scholarly and educational purposes, including:
- to use material from the Work in subsequent scholarly works and reviews, subject to a full citation to the original publication in the Journal
- to deposit the final published version of the article on their personal scholarly profiles, institutional repositories and subject specific archives
- to use the Work for teaching and educational purposes.
5.2 For all uses of the Work the Author agrees to include a full reference to the original first publication in the Journal.
6. Consideration
The assignment of copyright provided under this agreement is made on a gratuitous basis. No royalty or other remuneration shall be paid to the Author for publication of the Work.
7. Entry into Force
7.1 These Terms shall enter into force at the moment the Work is formally accepted for publication by the editorial board of the Journal.
7.2 In the event that the Work is rejected for publication, these Terms shall be deemed null and void ab initio, and all copyright in the Work shall remain fully and exclusively with the Author.
7.3 Submission of a manuscript to the Journal constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Copyright Assignment Terms by all Authors.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
