Abstract

The work analyzes the process of the emergence and development of a new scientific direction in the field of sociology - sociology of social sphere. Theoretically substantiates its importance for practice development of modern Russian society. Determine the function and Presented the social sphere, different points of view on its essence in retrospect. Actualized the problem of social services as an element of the social sphere and of the object of scientific research.
