Systematization of the Theories of Deviant Behavior of the Youth

Abstract

The article deals with the theoretical comprehension of the deviant behavior of the youth. Anattempt is set forth to systematize the most significant factors of negative deviant behavior of the youth without aspiration to inference explanatory laws or laws of soсium. To achieve this goal the author combines structural (anomie, etc.) and process (stigmatization, etc.)conceptions and propositions of classic and modern sociological theories in the niche of deviantology. In the article the next major factors, which determine the deviant behavior of the youth are singled out and systematized: social-determining factors (exclusion frоm the conform group, anomie of society, labelling as deviant, weakening of social control,existence of ingroup conflict) and personality's factors (choice of alternative forms of behavior and social environment, adoption of deviant models of behavior, the formation of the deviant way of life).
