Psycholinguistic description of word "communication" semantics in language consciousness of schoolchildren

Abstract

The article is devoted to the characteristic features of the lexicographical and psycholinguistic description of the word meaning. It is shown that experimental methods permit to find psycholinguistic meaning of the word in the linguistic conscience of speakers that is different from its lexicographical descriptions by the amount. Peculiar properties of psycholinguistic meaning of lexeme «communication» for different schoolchildren age groups are revealed.
