Enterprise Strategic Competences Development on the Basis of the Systematized Business Models

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of experience of application by the Russian industrial enterprises of the systematized Excellence model (EFQM) and its expediency for development of strategic competences of the enterprise. Conclusions of the authors are based on the analysis of tendencies of the systematized models application either in world practice or existing reports on management of a group of Russian enterprises participating in a number of competitions at the European, federal and regional levels, since 2010. The justified assumption is made that along with organizational maturity, the enterprise has to develop competences for initiating and implementing difficult projects of organizational development - «risk - appetite». The level of this competence is offered to be estimated with use of tools of the EFQM model. The article illustrates a group of companies which for the previous period showed positive dynamics of transition to higher levels of an organizational maturity that gives well grounded confidence to claim about their readiness to professionally apply the model. This decision ensures higher efficiency by using its methodological potential, reducing the terms of model development and providing bigger warranties of future synergetic effects.
