This article examines the reproduction of the problems of dual employment of women in three generations of inhabitants of Yaroslavl - in the generation of 18-23-year-old girls, not yet married, and in conditional generations of their mothers and grandmothers - women in the age range from 36 to 50 years and from 55 to 75 years. The peculiarities of perception and comprehension of the problems of dual employment of representatives of three generations of women Yaroslavl. As factors mediating the distribution of household responsibilities between spouses are considered normative ideas about male and female roles in the family and the ratio of the earnings of the husband and wife.References
