Abstract

Index analysis provides universal tools for analyzing of socio-political processes, allowing quantitative expression of the values of indicators. The quantitative expression of the value of the operationalized object makes it possible not only to characterize the object by itself, but also to compare one-order phenomena. This article presents the author's methodology of index analysis of protest activity in the subject of the Russian Federation (by the example of the Yaroslavl region), which includes the operationalization of protest activity and the evaluation of integral indicators and particular factors of protest activity on the basis of their expert assessments.
